This semi-soft organic cheddar has a medium flavor and is a favorite on its own, as well as in many cooking recipes. This cheese recently placed 5th in the Wisconsin Cheesemaker Associations 2007 U.S. Cheese Championship contest – the highest place given to an organic cheese in the competition.
