A solid at cooler temperatures, it becomes liquid when warmed. It can be used for baking, sautéing, stir-frying or anywhere else you would use vegetable oil, shortening or butter. Nutiva Organic Refined Coconut Oil contains 63% medium chain triglycerides (lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid). Coconut Oil is naturally liquid at warmer temperatures and is semi-solid to solid at cooler temps.

Nutiva's Organic Refined Coconut Oil will have a different color when compared to virgin, unrefined coconut oil. It can typically have a yellowish color, which is normal for the product.
