Why did we start freezing pizza in the first place? Well, it was hardly a decision we made alone. Truth be told, our customers were the ones who kicked off the tradition!
Back in the day, we learned many of our biggest fans at the original Home Run Inn pizzeria were bringing fresh pizzas home and freezing them to save for later. So, we decided to give the people what they want. We started freezing a few pizzas on our own, distributing them to neighborhood grocers and spreading the word to our loyal customers. Needless to say, the idea was a huge hit!
What started as a novel idea by our most enterprising (and hungry) customers, has turned into so much more—Home Run Inn frozen pizzas are now available in more than 35 states nationwide. If you have an ove or gril, you’re never too far away from the delicious taste of an original Home Run Inn pizza.
