Expertly crafted with over a hundred years of experience at a family-owned business. Organic whole, yellow mustard seed Brassica alba with mild heat and mellow sweetness is hammer milled and mixed with organic raw apple cider vinegar, organic turmeric, organic paprika, organic garlic, and a bit of our finest Portuguese sea salt. The blended ingredients are stone milled and allowed to rest for 48 hours to let meld and mellow before packing in the glass.
Commercial yellow mustard is made with inexpensive mustard bran or a combination of seeds and bran. They contain artificial coloring, synthetic additives, harsh salt, refined sugar, and irradiated spices. Most mustard, including those labeled organic, contain distilled vinegar, an acetic acid concoction derived from petrochemicals and the coal tar industry.
